The growing importance of transport and logistics management within an increasingly global economy requires professionals who can understand the integration of new and existing transport modes including sea, road, rail, and air into the further development of global supply chains that support the world’s economy. The Bachelor of Science program in Transport and Logistics Management was designed with the aid of business educators and industry leaders to expose students to modern thinking, methods, and practices in supply chain and logistics operations management. The program also integrates knowledge and skillsets in economics, finance, management, and other areas associated with transportation systems on a local, regional, and international scale.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

The overall aim of the Bachelor’s degree in transport and logistics management is to produce high – quality professional graduates in the field of transport and logistics management with a clear understanding of the foundation and aspects of transport logistics and general business management.

Specific Objectives

  1. To increase the number of trained people in the area of transport and logistics management in the country and therefore build capacity in the procurement field.
